Volleyball Manitoba (VM)) is pleased to announce the appointment earlier this month of Chris Chong to the position of Special Events and Project Coordinator. The position is shared with Volleyball Canada with the main role being to support the organization and delivery of the fundraising projects for the Women’s National Team including Super-Spike and the On-Line Auction, but will also help with various projects and events with VM as well.
Chris has been involved with Super-Spike for several years starting with his university placement with Team Canada back in 2012, and has continued as a committee member since then. Chris has also had experience in delivering the fundraising auction and will transition well into the role. Chris is a graduate of the University Manitoba Recreation Management and Community Development program, and brings experience from his recent positions with the University of Manitoba as well as with the Manitoba Major Soccer League.
