13U-14U Team Manitoba Training Camp – (athletes born in 2002 and 2003)
Athletes in this program will be at the start of the Team Manitoba performance pathway and will be introduced to the training environment of a provincial level athlete. For some, this will be the first step with Team Manitoba that could eventually include participation in National Level competitions such as NTCC, Western Canada Games and Canada Games. Athletes will focus on learning all the basic skills and will be introduced to more advanced concepts of cue reading and decision making. New for 2016, athletes will be given an introduction to beach volleyball and how the two games’ skills and tactics are transferable.
This program will include 10 hours of training led by Scott Koskie, Provincial High Performance Coach and Team Manitoba coaches.

Location: Red River Community College, Notre Dame Campus and Adrenaline Adventures

Participation in club volleyball is not a registration requirement for this program however previous experience playing volleyball at a school or club level would be an asset. Space in this program will be limited to 48 athletes (16 male and 32 female)
