Volleyball Manitoba is holding identification camps in Winnipeg and Brandon for this upcoming summer’s provincial team programs. The camps will be used to help identify athletes for the 15/16 (born in 2000 & 2001) and 17/18 (born in 1999 & 1998) programs. Athletes born in 1999 or later will eventually be considered for the 2017 Canada Games teams.
ID camps are open to all players throughout Manitoba who are interested in participating in a Provincial Team program in 2016. The final selection camp will be held at the end of May and will be by invitation only. Identified players will receive a direct invitation from Volleyball Manitoba to attend the final selection camp.
The athlete identification process may also consist of direct invitations to the final selection camp for players who have expressed an interest in the 2016 Provincial Team program and who have
a) participated in a Team Manitoba program in 2015
b) been identified during the club season by a member of the Provincial Team coaching staff.
Athletes only need to attend 1 ID session to be considered for the Provincial Team selection camp.
