This will be your hub for 2016 Jr. High Challenge & Grade 9 Open information.
The 2016 Jr. High Challenge & Grade 9 Open will consist of 4 Divisions:
Jr. High Boys – Maples Collegiate – Dec 2/3 (cancelled this year due to lack of registration)
Jr. High Girls – Sturgeon Heights Collegiate – Dec 2/3 – Schedule – Results
Grade 9 Boys – DMCI – Dec 9/10 (cancelled this year due to lack of registration)
Grade 9 Girls – Kelvin Collegiate – Dec 9/10 – Schedule
Jr. High divisions will utilize 14U Age Class Rules, including the 14U Substitution Rules (which state that all players listed on the score sheet must start the first or second set; substitutions are not permitted in the first or second set until one team has reached 15 points* (except in case of injury); any lineup can be used at the start of the third set)
*please note that we will be using the 2015 version of this rule for this event, not the 2016 version which does not allow any subbing in the first or second set
Grade 9 divisions will utilize 15U Age Class Rules.
