Please be informed that the 2016 Volleyball Manitoba Annual General Meeting will take place as follows:
Tuesday, September 6, 2016 – 7:00 to 8:30pm
Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park – 1405 St. Matthews Ave, Winnipeg, MB
The agenda for the evening will include a ‘Reflections on Rio’ presentation by Larry McKay, who served as the assistant coach for the Men’s National Team at the 2016 Olympics. Other presentations will include reports on the 2017 Canada Games, Club Volleyball updates, Superspike and others, prior to the formal business of the Annual General Meeting.

The Annual General Meeting will require the election of up to 8 Directors to the board of Volleyball Manitoba. If anyone is interested in letting their name stand for election to the board, please contact us at volleyball.ed@sportmanitoba.ca. Bios from all interested individuals are requested by August 31 so they can be included in the AGM material. For reference, the Volleyball Manitoba by-laws can be found on the following link:

Member registration for the AGM will open at 6:30pm. We encourage representatives from all member leagues, clubs and teams to attend. Attendance is open but to gauge participation we ask if you could rsvp to volleyball.ed@sportmanitoba.ca by September 5, 2016.
